Hey Wilderness folks.
Hope all is well.
I just got busy with my day job this week, but last week, I had some evenings to my self, working on knives. Lately, I have been just trying to finish some of the blades I have forged already, which is a bummer, cause I love the forging aspect so much. But, I had to draw the line and actually finish some of these.
Well, while I have several others in different stages of "work" I actually got these two done.
I like em both, they are good knives, that have a good "feel" to them.
Both knives are from a 1976 pontiac Trans Am leaf Spring.
The larger knife is 11-1/2 over all, full hidden tang, with a leather and hemp handle..
Blade is 1/4" at the hilt, and 6-1/8" overall.
The sheath is lined with kydex, for a safe place to store it.

The smaller knife is full tang, with Ghost Jade micarta and black liners, stainless tube rivets, hammer marked blade. The blade is 1/8" thick down the center of the blade. The overall length is 8-7/8" with a handle and blade equally at 4-7/16" long.
The 9oz leather sheath fits damn well, with no rattle or chance of the knife coming out, even with the sheath tuned over and shaken.

Both sheaths were glued up and saddle stitched by me as well.

What do you guys think, I think I should get some use out of both of these, and learn a few things about what to do better or do again, down the road.

Thanks
Gene

Thanks man...it's already called my name...I told myself that I would make them, and then sell or trade them, but man, I really like this one. Just a simple KNIFE.
