The chopper is a Busse Inspired Straight Handle Chopper. .275 S-7. 16" OAL with 10" blade

The short sword is .190 A-2, 24" oal.

I love both of them, the chopper is great looking. are the handle rivets brass? they look very dark.

How do you like that A2? 5160 is the new love in my life, but I have been thinking about trying some A2. how does the edge hold up? have you ever done a comp between A2 and D2?
I have been using a lot of 1095 but I think 5160 out preforms it in almost every way, and I have heard A2 preforms like 5160 with better edge retention.

great blades. -Josiah

I stay very close to my roots. I have made every knife out of either A-2, D-2, or S-7. A-2 being my #1 steel... I love it,, D-2. Makes a sharp convex knife,, I'm about to make one of the sword out of .315 thick D-2. Do some major temper work on her. Try to get her to flex like her A2 sister here,, we will see,, thanks so much again,, j

J, you make the damned ugliest knives I've ever seen....send 'em to me and get them out of your misery!

J/k. Great job! They both look like they are begging to go out and remove some limbs...from a large tree that is.:thumbup::thumbup:
