this is my first forged blade, OAL 8 3/4", blade 4" x 7/8"-steel unknown (good spark)/wooden sheath
this one is from a security bar that came out of an old adobe house in the early 70's. OAL 8 1/4", blade 3 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" with 1 3/8 cutting edge.
handle is buffolo horn, brass spacers and walnut burl/walnut.
this last one is from the same security bar steel, OAL 22 1/2", blade 13 1/2" x 1" to 1 1/4", 1/8" thick. Its not 100% done yet-needs hanlde wrap or ?? wooden sheath (unknown wood). to me it looks like it could be a Malaysian pirate short sword. thanks for looking -- comments more than welcome. azmike
