Here's another one I turned out recently. It's the usual wickett and craig in brown with alligator inlay and the little antique Ivory book mark got it's own sheath in russet.

Very spiffy, the bookmark sheath is unusual. Paul you never cease to amaze us with your workmanship...

Wow! I especially like the book mark sheath! :)

Paul, my friend---after several years of occasionally asking for a sheath forum, it has finally arrived!! Raise the flag!! Looking forward to visiting at Hotlanta. Sandy

I am looking for a leather crafter, I have several sheaths that are in need of repair, any help ? cliff

JCL---most sheathmakers that I am acquainted with manage to steer clear of repair jobs on sheaths. To take them apart, repair where needed, sew back together again, and refinish is almost tantamount to making a new sheath. Very seldom are the repairs of any duration due to the age and wear on the sheath. Satisfactory repair jobs are not the norm by any means.

If the sheath has a personal history and its value lies therein, it would probably be best remembered in the condition in which it is in at this time. It is like an antique--repairs lowers the value, even if no one cares but you.

Thanks for the info, but the sheaths that I need repaired, are all carry type, missing the keepers, snaps, and in need of restiching, repairs like that
No personal history, or value just a tool to be used when I need it, and won't fall out of the sheath while being carried
