Hey all, just got one back from the bluers and the other I finished up last week. Just one more to make out of mokume and I think my Xmas presents are finally done!:D

This first one is 131 layers of C1095 and Pure Nickel in a slow twist. I had the pen barrels hot blued and it turned out OK. The nickel is kind of a gold color. Nextime I am going to etch the pieces to give some texture and then have them blued so I can come back with 1500 grit and polish up the nickel and have white on black.

This one is the same as the first one I did but it is smaller. I think my Mom will like this one better than the big honkin' one. 311 layers of 1095, 15N20, and pure nickel.

Here is the Gentleman's pen next to the Jr. Gentleman's pen. A nice little matching set for Mom and Dad's Christmas presents. ;)

Let me know what you think.

man those are some beautiful pens, i like the blued one, real subtle, yet still very intriguing. i cant even imagine trying to fit those together. how much time do you have invested in one pen? I know the people getting them will be very happy and will know how special these are.

Very, very nice, but I do not think you have my address to send my Christmas present. I'll send it to you, remember it is better to give than receive!

Great work again Sean. When all is caught up with you and the pains of the money-sucking holidays are over price me some of your mokume for bolster/guard work for a couple or three knives or so.

if you got a market push those babys.

sneak me a price on a set? :)

Thanks guys, your comments are great.

Terry- How much time? Well, I stopped keeping track a while ago. It takes me as long or longer to make a pen than a knife. But it is teaching me some really good lessons about fit and finish.

Hammer- Sure do: SC Knives

Graymaker- A market? Well, I wish! Like all my stuff so far, I am trying to find the market for my product. One day, my friend, one day!:D
