Just finished up a couple new sheaths for my swatmandu and AK. I made each sheath so the welt locks the blade into the sheath. The blades pop in and don't fall out if shaken upside down, yet aren't hard to pull out of the sheath or put into the sheath. I plan on making a new one for my WTF as soon as i get my BG WTH maybe a piggy back but I dont know just yet. I still need to get a belt sander so I can make the outside edge lines cleaner (straighter). Just wanted to share. Thanks for taking the time to look!

Looks great! I have to start making my own sheaths, I have too many naked blades...

Looks nice and clean, good even stiching and design. A belt sander will really help even out the edges and straighten them up. Where you made the loop for the Swatmandu think about instead of having the one layer use two so the smooth side is out. Its a little more leather and thicker to sew but works nicely.

Originally that was the plan on the swatmandu sheath but after I cut the piece I realized I cut it out backwards lol. Originally it would have folded over to the inside so the slick side was out. I didn't want to waste the leather so I just folded it over to the outside.

Lol I know that feeling I've got lots of odd shaped scraps in the shop from changing my mind or redoing something.
