Just the other day I had a couple real nice ones show up on my doorstep.

I don't know about you guys but I think they look pretty damn good! Let's take a closer look!

Both of these knives arrived courtesy of Swoopmaster! I can't thank you enough for helping me get together with these two beauties!

Before I ever actually handled a Tanker A, I always thought they looked kinda small in pictures. When it arrived I was really surprised by how substantial this thing really is! Pictures don't really do these things justice, you just have to hold one I guess! This thing really does feel like it's built like a tank!

As you can see, it comes pre-loved, by nut_sak_himself if I understand correctly, before taking a brief rest at Swoopmaster's place then landing on my doorstep. A bit of the coating is gone but the factory edge is like new. A couple light passes on my sharpening steel and it was easily contributing to the baldness of my left arm!

This is now my main user, replacing my trusty Benchmade 710 D2 for daily knife use. I don't think I could have asked for a better all-around user! This thing just feels so....right? No other way to say it. It's just VERY good!!!

As for the Off Duty...

...This thing is definitely going to spend the rest of her life as a Vault Queen. Yup, I had to upgrade the safe to a full blown underground vault in order to accommodate her fatness! There was really no way to prepare me for what I was receiving in this one. For a fatty, you can't deny her beauty. She's definitely got a pretty face, that's for sure!

Also, I've only ever owned a handful of different sheaths, but the kydex that arrived with my Tanker A is easily the nicest one I've ever laid hands on. It compliments the Tanker perfectly!

two gorgeous snakes!

Incredible to say the least.

and so is that Okuden camo!

I'll take the OD

Oooops wrong forum;)

Two beautifull blades Grimspoon:thumbup:
But the OD is just WOW. That's one I'm still missing in my collection...
I'll openly state that I'll help you out if you can't bear her weight no more:D

I think when I saw the original offering thread started by Jerry, it was mentioned that the Tanker A falls somewhere between a BAIII and an original Satin Jack.

The sharpened bit is 4.25", but from the handle to the tip it's ~ 5.10".

I don't have a BAIII to give a proper comparison / side-by-side, unfortunately!

Why is it that Jerry names such a cool blade the Tanqueray and a goofy blade Scotch Dispenser. I ain't never seen him DRINK gin. ???
