quite a few 105s have been on ebay in the last few months. some i think are recent reproductions. here are 2 "melon testers" (altho i wonder about the accuracy of this name as i thought a fruit blade was sterling silver so as to not impart a metallic taste to the fruit)
the more recent is: Schrade+/U.S.A. 105, with a v. nice "Razor Blade Stainless" etch. the older is : Schrade/Cut Co/Walden N.Y. with "MORRELL PRIDE"-FOR EXCELLENCE on front handle and John Morrell & Co. "since 1827" on back handle.
perhaps they were also intended to be letter openers ?
any others have interesting 105s ? any comments about this pattern or 2 knives shown will, as always, be much appreciated. roland
