I happened across these on Youtube.
The first is a nicely re-mastered archival footage of The Mallory-Irvine expedition of 1924. A silent film of that era beautifully set to sometimes awe inspiring and sometimes ominous music. Amazing that they could take such film all those years ago of a Everest or Chomolungma- Mother Goddess of the World before any human had ever known her......or of her wrath on those who fail to respect her or her spirits:

Here is a link to my previous post about the search for Mallory and Irvine some 80 years since they went missing. Only Mallory was found:
