A couple of damascus skeletonized handles

I had a customer order a "Thumbnail from my website and we wanted it with a skeketonized handle, and in Damascus. first, dammy scares the hell out of me because it is so expensive, and I haven't perfected the technique for making it, YET. Second. I have only done one "skeletonized" handle and it lookes like it has been shot with buckshot.....

My customer's is on the top. The other is one I made with the "sister" piece of the cutoff....

These don't look too shabby.....

I think the second one is what your customer will finally pick. Very nice, scales of ivory micarta would finish that one right up! Nice going.

The only thing to finish these are silk lanyards and amboyna burl fobs......

I like the top one the deeper choil and shorter blade look like they'll combine to offer greater control and a better grip.

But they both look great! I can see ivory or linen scales on the bottom one easily.

They both look like good users.
