A couple of damascus skeletonized handles

I had a customer order a "Thumbnail from my website and we wanted it with a skeketonized handle, and in Damascus. first, dammy scares the hell out of me because it is so expensive, and I haven't perfected the technique for making it, YET. Second. I have only done one "skeletonized" handle and it lookes like it has been shot with buckshot.....

My customer's is on the top. The other is one I made with the "sister" piece of the cutoff....

These don't look too shabby.....

I think the second one is what your customer will finally pick. Very nice, scales of ivory micarta would finish that one right up! Nice going.

I like the bottom one best. Now put some scales on it. LOL. Jim

I like the top one:) the deeper choil and shorter blade look like they'll combine to offer greater control and a better grip.

But they both look great! I can see ivory or linen scales on the bottom one easily.

They both look like good users.
