Picked these two up at Blade, my first Doziers. The KS-3 Pro Guide with wilderness sheath, and a KS-18 Straight Personnal.

I am really liking this KS-3 ! Perfect size for camp, hunting and about anything else you could need a knife for.
Very impressed with how well made these blades are.

Very nice, one of these days I am going to have to breakdown and get me a Dozier.

I have that exact combo (PGK/SP) and have used them for years.
You will be very pleased!

If you can't get it done with those two you might as well stay home!

ProGuide and Personal Utility (K-9) here.
:D

Ken, I'd have to think the only other thing to add would be a Dozier/Crotts filet!

I'm working on getting one to complete my knife battery!

Ebbtide, I know your set-up is complete!:D

The Pro Guide is my outdoors EDC.

Whattta blade!!!!

Threw a bright orange lanyard on it for those nights around the camp and whittled down the thumb pad on the wilderness sheath, found it a little exaggerated and snaggy.

Anyhoo-
Congrats Bro!!!

Edit- wanted to add-- looking down the spine from hilt to tip on the Pro Guide you can see a master at work with his proportions. It's literally perfect in my opinion, makes the blade sing in the hand.

That smaller one looks like a very useful well made pocket blade.

Form&Function with these knives, elegant too, first class choice in my view!

Another HUGE Dozier / Crotts fan here. Great Score on your pair, now all you need is a piggyback sheath of some kind.

I think every knife knut owes it to to himself to own at least one (though they may or may not keep it) - but to try the Dozier edge and HT is something that everyone should experience.

Those are a couple great Doziers that you picked up Ken. I'm a big fan of Dozier and Crotts as well, and have never been disappointed with their work.

I have a Proguide, and it is a heck of a knife. It stays sharp for ever. Never meet a dozier I did not like. Got a agent on order.

You'll like them even more after you've used them for a while! Nice score! Dozier are some of the (very few) knives that I like more and more as time goes by. They take and keep a great edge! Enjoy! I would like to read a review from you in a month or so.... ;)

Love my K1 General Purpose blade from Dozier... cuts like a demon, takes and holds an edge like no other in my experience. Dozier blades are just plain exquisite.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies!

I'm already in love with this Pro Guide! I've only used it on some small briars and such while clearing a trail behind the house, but can tell it will be my new go to knife.

If anyone is thinking about one of these I would suggest getting it with the Wilderness Sheath. Best kydex I've ever seen, and with the soft nylon drop loop you can't even tell you have it on.

The only thing I regret is waiting so long to purchase one.

I upgraded my ProGuide to the Wilderness sheath.
Money well spent.

Not to get too OT, but what is the difference between the ProGuide and the Wilderness knife? Is it mainly blade thickness?

Thanks
Doc

Blade length, grip length, blade thickness, edge profile to tip (shape), and the standard sheath configuration.
Overall weight of the Wilderness is more than the PGK. 9.7oz vs. 6.9oz.
