I put a couple of drops of CPL lube in my 561 today. What a Big diference. It flips faster and a Lot easier. The CPL makes it sooo much smoother.

Use whatever you use for lube in your 560/61....it should make a big difference.

I've had my 561 about 3 weeks or so......it's broken in.

When it finally gets to the lock bar it's going to give you fits. Sticky lock here you come!

Seriously, try and keep it off the lock surface.

FWIW my 0560's slight resistance comes from the detent of the lock bar riding against the blade. If I push the lock bar all the way off of the blade, the pivot swings very freely. I've had mine for about 2 weeks now.

Rem oil works great too. Make sure to shake it up so the Teflon mixes with the lube. It won't effect the lock.

I took mine apart and actually used a small amount of lithium grease under the bearings. It is so smooth now its scary. Plus I like grease as it stays put in a knife pivot.
