A couple of file knives

These are always fun to make. Micarta handle on the larger dagger, blade around seven inches, but the blade is around 11" from tip to guard.. Ironwood slabs on the smaller one, 2" blade, AOL 7".Let me know what you think of them.

Thanks Shawn,

But I can't claim credit for the twist feature; guys in this area of Virginia have been making file knives with twists for decades. Some of these guys have brought the making of file knifes to a fine art. Using a file to make a knife is, in my opinion, just plain ole relaxing fun. It's a good way to unwind from forging out bowies, swords, etc.Plus, people just plain like them.

Really like the smaller one. I have always been a fan of modified arrow head shaped blades.

I like that blade shape too. I think this little knife would make a great neck knife.
