A Couple of firecraft tricks w/ a Opinel

While on a hike with friends from another forum, I was given a Opinel # 8 as a gift. It is a great little knife. I screwed around wit it all weekend. Here are a couple of tricks I learned you could do with this cool little knife.

Cool video. I had a buddy show me that trick several years ago and it works every time. Everyone should own at least one Opinel.

I have had a carbon #8 for 22 years. Patina and sharp as hell, so broken in that it opens by gravity and will wrist flick open.
Figured out the striker trick with a magnesium flint block a long time ago. Works really well on misch and lmf.

I have two Opinels and plan on picking up a couple more. They are some of the most underrated knives out there.
