I used both cocoa brown and dark mahogony dye. I splotched cocoa first then the other using a paper towel. Be sure to let each one splotch mark dry before you go back over it. Some parts of the splotch will have more dye then others making some parts darker. You don't wanna mess that up imo. I also let some of the mahogony drip and streak down the sheath.
