Very nice work! I love your stitching and edge work.
I'd say those sheaths are worth 5X what the knives are? :-).....gotta love them Moras tho.

Nice ! Is that firesteel loop part of the welt itself or a seperate piece inserted in a gap cut into the welt?

Thanks guys! Yeah these sold very quickly at a show where I had a vendor table. Me thinks I need to make more next year ;)

It is seperate. I cut out a section of the welt(I believe this was 1.25" or 1.50") before I glue it down. Then after it is dyed, and I burninished the edge, I insert the loop into the slot, then proceed to stitch it up. I usually burnish the edge as the last step on my sheaths, but I found it to be a hassle to try and burnish around firesteel loops when the time comes. So on these I burnish before I stitch.

Wow those look awesome! I can see why they went so fast.

Even if you had a whole collection of Moras, you could get one or two of these sheaths and insert the Mora-de-jour when going out.

You could probably replace 100 Moras before the sheath needed repair/ replacement.
