Hey guys, I'm new here, some of you might remember me when I was talking about wanting the slabs on my BCCI 301 blackened. Well, I was introduced to Uncle Leroy. Needless to say, my wish was his command. My dreams came true and then some. BG42 is one of my favorite steels and not only was I able to get my 301 re-slabed but I was able to find a 110 in BG42 and get her re-slabed in black Micarta with a slight palm swell. It's safe to say this hillbilly from WV is a happy camper. Enough talking.

Only to the extent of the slabs.

Makael, I dearly love the stag. That is georgeous. I fought myself back and forth but in the end you can see what won. I was even considering Wooly.
I guess I'm just a simple man.

I would admit . The ivory micarta and pins on the 301 is not my favorite. That black looks much nicer with no pins.
