I haven't done much since Blade in the shop. Been trying to catch up on yard work. However I did find a bit of time to get these two fit in to my busy schedule. Both are my Chiron Flipper's First up is the full sized 7-3/4" open 4-3/8" closed.
Also worth noting these are the first ones I made using my new mill:thumbup:

Next one is the little guy 7-1/8" open and 4" closed

Thanks for looking

Oh, man-really like these, Bing. What's the thickness of your liners? The tips on those look really thin. Bet they're good cutters :).

Jeremy the liners are .075 and yes the blades are thin. .118 at the spine down to the tips about .025

These are sweet Bruce! I could see myself carrying that second one a lot.

Those get better all the time Bing. You're gonna have to close your books soon. :)

I like 'em with the raised clip too. Nice touch.

You know I like 'em, Bing! Can't wait to get mine...you do send these out with band-aids, right?

I like 'em with the raised clip too. Nice touch.

That's interesting, I prefer the regular blade myself, not that anyone asked. Nice to have options, though, as everyone has different tastes. There is a name for that blade style but I can't think of it right now. Keep up the good work Bruce.

I like both ways too. I love a nice drop point, especially for daily use and utilitarian stuff. Both ways are elegant.

The raised clip adds just a little touch of 'sinister' to the elegant, and that's nice too sometimes. ;)

Either way, the craftsmanship is great and Bing sure knows how to make them sharp and as smooth as any I've handled.

I dig that little one with the straight cf scales. The combo of the shiny blue and matte cf is sweet. Love me some bolsters, but that little knife has tickle factor.

Those sure look great!
I'm Diggin the top one!!
Is the First one Damasteel or your Damascus

Bruce's work is top-notch and I really like that harpoon-styled blade.

Keep those new folders coming buddy!!! :D

Bing,
Mighty nice work. Smooth I say.

More nice work Bruce! Mine is in m EDC rotation so I carry it a few times per week.
Mark, Thanks and glad to hear one of mine are in the rotation:thumbup: I have one in 1095 I carry every day just to abuse opening boxes at work.

BenR.T. These are sweet Bruce! I could see myself carrying that second one a lot.

Thanks Ben

J. Doyle Those get better all the time Bing. You're gonna have to close your books soon.

I like 'em with the raised clip too. Nice touch.

Thanks John

FosterJ Very nice. Cool styling.

Thanks Foster

Ben Seward You know I like 'em, Bing! Can't wait to get mine...you do send these out with band-aids, right?

Thanks Ben, I'm thinking you may like yours with the raised clip? I have a good supply of band aids ready for you

Mark Thanks again for posting up your piece. This is the same pattern except the raised clip added. That is what give me a bit of freedom with this pattern

Lorien I dig that little one with the straight cf scales. The combo of the shiny blue and matte cf is sweet. Love me some bolsters, but that little knife has tickle factor.

Thanks Lorien

I believe you're thinking of a harpoon tip. I could be wrong.

I can't decide which I like more. Both are exquisite! As is mwschilling's!

Thanks benchwarmer380
