I have been busy recently and haven't been spending much time on the computer. I have a break in the action, so I thought I would share some things I have been working on.

The first one is an evolution of my Persian design. I decided to add a little length to the blade and I did away with the false edge. It is 9.25" overall with a 5.25" 154CM blade. To keep it slim and help with grip, I used textured G-10. This the custom version Meyerco based my collaboration on.

The next one is my version of a Thumb Dagger its a small little key chain knife or even a necker. It is 4" overall with a 1.5" double edge blade. I used 154CM and gave it a glass bead fob for a little pizzaz. It is chisel ground and probably one of the sharpest knives I have ever made.

I will be posting more, soon.

Those look great......

I'd be interested in a thumb dagger w/ fob..... like the one shown.
When you have them for sale please email me and let me know.

Thanks in advance.......... :)

Thanks guys! I think these both turned out to be pretty cool.

I am thinking the Persian needs a stone wash finish with maybe Ironwood for the handles.

The ThumbDagger is pretty straight forward. Aside from maybe milling some grooves for grip, I think it works as is.

More pics coming (I have to work on my photography skills!) and some will be posted for sale later tomight or tomorrow.

Dirk,
I finally got back down to coastal Alabama yesterday... [where I had you ship this weeks ago.... I was  when I did that... :D].... and picked it up. [They held it for me all this time cause I called and asked them to.]

Anyway......... this is one nice little piece !!!!!!
Very well done..... & sharp as a razor.

Thank you !!!!!

The thumb dagger is really cool but I keep going back to look at the Persian. The shape really flows nicely.

Both of them really look great, I agree with you that some Ironwood would really dress it up. Could possibly put a small disc of ironwood into the holes on the thmb dagger and it would look really neet as well!

all the best!
Gabriel

That thumb dagger really attracts my attention. I like that one!

It is a very nice one for sure........

I am tickled I got it... to say the very least. ;)

Dirk is a Good Guy to deal with also. He does exactly what he says he'll do.
