Went to the drugstore today to pick up a prescription and got to looking at the knife section of the store. Btw, this is a large section of the store! Mostly Case, Camillus, CRK&T, S&W, and United brands, with a couple more thrown in. It was the Case knives I was looking at. The store also has some very good prices on the knives as they only mark them up 10 to 20 percent over dealer cost. Of course it helps when one brother runs the drugstore and the other brother/partner runs a knife distribution outfit! Look for NKDI ads in Blade Magazine.
Anyway I was looking at the Case knives and came away with a couple of them. I picked up another Case Brothers knife, this time the large Trapper pattern with chestnut bone. There is something about this series of knives that I find extremely appealing. The other one I got I got because I picked it and instantly cut the forefinger of my left hand! As I told the girl behind the counter that I NEVER cut myself like that she got a good chuckle by telling me that I wasn't the only one to use that story!
The second knife is also a Case, and is a Canoe pattern #62131 with CV steel. I was sorta hoping I would find a Gunboat pattern in the store, but no such luck today. Both of these Case knives have excellent sharpness out of the box, think sliced finger, excellent walk and talk, and excellent fit and finish.
Really pleased with both of these and will rest my Case Brothers large Gunstock pattern for the CV Canoe for a while.

forgot to say that the Canoe has the bonestag handle material and Case has done a good job on making it look realistic.
