Hi all, and merry christmas.

Just lucked out and won a few slipjoints from ebay. I've never really wanted a slipjoint in the past.

Over the last year or so I have been wanting to acquire one and see how often it comes in handy. I carry an endura at work and sometimes my ronin as backup, but never a slip.

These are my first, so there not custom or anything... but I like the simplicity. The material is supposed to be carbon, which I gather is prefered over the stainless?

Hopefully they'll be here soon.

Take care and happy holidays.

The Boker slipjoints are nice but the medallion fell out of mine so it looks a bit ordinary now , But still performs very well !

Hi All.

Just received the congress. Very impressed. The difficulty alone of trying to open the damn blades is impressive. The asymetry of the lining and bone leads me to believe that the knife is handmade, or at least handsanded.... I don't know.

A solid piece and I hope to defy all universal laws that dictate that I lose valuable keepsakes before I'm able to pass them along :)

Best,
