A relative of mine sent us some old family pictures. I thought a couple of them were interesting enough to share here. If you all don't think so, then I guess I'm pretty bored...
All the guys in this picture are brothers, and the picture had to have been taken in the 1800's. The guy on the right in the back row is George S. Patton Sr., father of General George Patton of WW II fame. The guy on the left in front is my great, great, grandfather.
I'm not sure exactly how I'm related to this woman, but she is an ancestor. She's also J.P. Morgans first cousin.
Which is interesting, but nothing to be proud of, since J.P. was such a creep. The real reason I'm posting that picture is because I think she looks a bit like Mrs. Tweedy from Chicken Run:
