a couple of quick questions.

Hello!

I new (relatively) to posting here but have been lurking for a while.

Without stirring anything up or calling anyone out I am wondering about a couple of different policies here:

1. I thought I read that posts/threads weren't deleted here, but I am pretty sure I posted in a thread earlier today but I can't find it. Is it possible there are exceptions to that general rule?

2. I also thought I remember reading only 2 people who had been banned were welcomed back to BF, and those were special circumstances. Is this correct or are people allowed to make new accounts and come back?

While we don't generally delete threads, we do move some offline where they are no longer available to the regular membership. Sometimes it is worth asking, since I've also known people to ask about their own threads that they can't find, but I found for them, moved to another forum.

It is rare for banned members to be allowed back. Some sneak back in, generally get caught pretty quickly. Some few seem to make a hobby of it for a while.

As neither issues really impact me directly I think I will keep my nose out of them.

By clicking on your user name, you will get a menu with View Profile. You can click on Find latest posts and see if the one that's missing is there. Click on it and see where the thread went.

You can also click on the links in my signature block for most of the rules and other useful information to browse through.
