Well, every once in a while a guy gets lucky and scores a great deal.
I had been wanting a SOW for a while, when along comes a pair on that auction site with a BIN that was too good to refuse. So I pulled the trigger, held my breath since I didn't know the seller, and was overjoyed when they showed up yesterday.
This is the first time I've held a NO or NO variant. I was immediately struck by the light, but solid feel of the blade. It is very easy to wield and maneuver. I love this handle style and find it extremely comfortable, while providing a great grip. It also happens to be a truly beautiful blade, from the great recurve to the way the satin and Red G10 complement each other so well. I know it usually works this way, but my appreciation for this knife increased exponentially after seeing and fondling it in person.
I couldn't be happier with my first NO and now I'm even more excited my Bloodbath Black/Canvas to show up....
