Well, I started playing around with the BK9 to see what it is capable of (more so me with it). Here are a few pics of what I had time to conjure up in a short time:

It might have a new home in the kitchen...ok, not really. But it got a great reaction from my wife!

It even helped cut up dinner.

Bit of a feather stick-I tried with some dry wood that I had sitting and I thought the snow would make it wet enough. Guess not!

I'll post some more pics when I get to knock down a tree!!!
 
Good to see that I'm not the only one who went to see if it fit in the knife block when I got it :D (it didn't fit in mine though)

That is funny since as I started in the Kingdom of Beckerville my trying to find more about Uncle Ethan led me to understand he has something to do with "the Joy of Cooking". My wife received that cookbook from her grandmother when she was much younger and it is one of her favorites. This led me to purchase the BK9 instead of going with another manufacturer. They seem like awesome folks and as a business owner myself I tend to spend money with people of good character. We both enjoy cooking so I guess in time I will add some Becker Kitchen knives to the block as well.
