A big one and a little one. :-)

The big one:

Steel: W1 and 15n20 about 300 layers, in a ladder pattern

Blade length: 10-3/4"

Total length: 15-7/8"

Blade thickness: 1/4"

Handle material: desert ironwood

Fittings: stainless guard and pin, with stainless and brown micarta spacers

The clip is sharp. The flats of the guard are satin finished, the insides of the lugs are mirror polished.

Thanks for looking, and for your comments!

Awesome Bowies both....

If I had my druthers it'd be the big one....just because it's BIG! :D

These are both fantastic Phillip... killer steel, gorgeous handle material, and top notch fit&finish.

I noticed the big one was sold in the exchange for the price of a hunter... You're crazy!!! ;) LOL

Great work Phillip!

Phillip, both awesome knives, fit and finish excellent as always. I do like the Turkish twist pattern one of the nicest I've seen. The DI is first class too especially the burl on the big Bowie!!

Beautiful--that second Damascus pattern looks carved into the steel. Remarkable 3D effect.

Great works Phillip
And yes .. especially the 2nd one .. like it very much :)

Thanks for all the comments fellas, I appreciate them!

Except for you Nick. I may be stupid, but I'm not crazy. Er, wait, that came out wrong. ;-) Anyway, I wouldn't normally sell a bowie like that for that little, but there were mitigating circumstances. And, I wish I could sell hunters for that much. Though I haven't actually tried...

Well I'm very happy to say that the small Turkish twist Bowie will be joining my collection very soon. :D :D After seeing it posted on here I asked Phillip if he could make one just the same for me.
Imagine my glee when I got an email from Phillip saying the original buyer had backed out of the deal so did I want it. Having dealt with Phillip before I have to say he is a real Gent.

Congrats big Rick.

I received the large bowie a few days ago and it is even better in person than in the wonderful pictures.

Phillip ,your knives have always been so nice . I have four of them now but that smaller one is something else. lets talk after Xmas . Wild Bill
