...not for Blade, since I'm not going. ;)

This one is the prototype for a new run of Vanguard knives for Les. The others will have blades of W2 with hamon. The clip is sharpened.

Steel: D2, forged

Blade length: 9"

Total length: 14.5" or so

Blade thickness: 1/4"

Handle material: stabilized curly koa

This one is a smaller version of the above.

Steel: A2, ground

Blade length: 7"

Total length: 11.5"

Blade thickness: .200"

Handle material: desert ironwood

Guard is aluminum bronze, spacers and pin are some other kind of bronze

Thanks for looking, and as always, constructive criticism is welcome.

Very nice knives. I love the Koa - tons. The Ironwood looks awesome - and the butt had nice striping/color.

Lots of characters in those both of handsome knives
Congrats and thanks for showing them :)

They look great, but I would really like to see you thin up the arms/quillions/outliers/whatever you want to call them on the guard...it is the one thing that I find lacking evolution in your execution.

STeven Garsson

Their beautiful but that D-2 Fighter is the one i'd choose. Congrats nice work.

Great looking knives....both of them.
Excellent finish on the handles!
I think I like the size and proportions on the 1st one best, but they both turned out really nice.

Nice knives. Grinds and finish are immaculate. I kind of agree with Mr. Garsson in respect to the second knife. The guard looks heavy for the handle.

I got to agree with you STeven I think the guards look too large and out of balance with the rest of the knife, the large knife is ok but the small knife, just too large. Otherwise both very nice knives!!

I have to agree with Steven and Rick on the guard of the smaller knife, but you have come so-so far on your handle design in a short period of time.
Congratulation on two fine knives.
