thought id share some of the leather work ive done lately... im slowly getting more confident and a tiny bit faster too
Did a buck 119 sheath for a friend in california, a small pocket sheath for a family member who made his first knife.
Made myself a holster (my first) and belt for my uberti 1860, and a pocket sheath for my alpha dorado (in the process of stripping the grips getting rid of the Uberti Cherry Red:))

and lastly partially inspired by Kid Terico's figural carving of the bar room scene from a while back i attempted my first, based off a meso american drawing i did years ago... still got a ways to go and am slowing expanding my tools as money allows
Let me know what yall think
Thanks
Gene

Love all of it, but the work at the bottom is just plain awesome. I need to find an instructional on how to dye like that, and the carving looks great.

You should be proud.

thanks!, i actually wasnt happy with the dye job on it, so i ran a couple dilluted coats of brown over the whole thing and then buff off to pop the high points, used a little 0000 steel wool to that to. im still using my original tool set from tandy, really need to get another/better/smaller swivel knife as its a bear carving smaller things with the standard tandy knife
Appreciate the praise
Gene

Great craftsmanship!!!

How many stitches per inch in the black sheath?
