Hi All,

I've been neglecting the gallery subforum lately.
Here are a couple 1084 kiradashi of HeftLefty's design that I finished up tonight:

Wow--I love the simplicity of it, looks incredibly functional too.

Thanks, Aias. This is by far the simplest knife I make. It would be hard to go simpler!
Despite that, the lines are carefully considered. The large one really feels nice in the hand and puts the edge at a very convenient angle.

Thanks for the interest, though these aren't presently for sale (not a sales thread either), though I will post in for-sale fixed blades when I have some.

Why the two holes?

The big one is for finger/thumb index and sheath retention, and the little one is for a lanyard. The lanyard is more important on the smaller ones.

What is the use application for a blade of this shape and style? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you would do with it.

It has the same basic blade shape as an x-acto or box-cutter, but with a lot more edge and beef.
