I don't make a lot of bowies, although I do enjoy the form. I also don't use much stag, although this piece was sure a treat to work with.
This will be for a local cowboy, one who makes a living riding horses and mending fence. He'll be building the sheath, as that's his specialty.
The blade is 1065 carbon steel, the fittings are ladder damascus, and of course that's a sambar taper. Blade length is about 10".
