I asked in the Traditional forum what companies people would like to see make a slipjoint, and offered up CRK. Now, CRK puts out a nice gentlemans knife in the Mnandi, I love mine. I look like a bear trying to thread a needle when I am opening mine. I have been a fairweather fan of slipjoints, and don't have any high end models, mainly old beaten up ones, and some new low end models. However, I would like to hear what you think of a slipjoint model from CRK. I'm guessing it would be more expensive than the basic Case you would find at the local hardware store ;). S30V or A2 for a slipjoint? Not necessarily slipjoint steel for S30V. I would be interested just to see what CRK comes up with, a CAD drawing would more than suffice. I'd like to see if anyone is interested also. Materials, steel, size, anything else special. I'm looking at just a single blade pattern right now.

SS---I thought about a Reeve Slippie, too. But with the Integral Lock being so strong and simple, and--- Chris's invention, I don't see a CRK Slippie. But---you Never know.

i think with the way laws around the world are changing- and especially with the laws here in theuk a CRK slippie would be great. Perhaps a nod towards more refined styling like the mnandi rather than the umnum
