I am sure most of us have used a modern metal bow saw ? Ten bucks at the local hardware . Good tool when lots of logs need to be cut and precision is not uppermost in your needs . Fire wood, posts and similar items .
I am a true lefty . When I take a bow saw that has been used by a right handed freak I find the blade has had a bias built into it through useage and perhaps a natural tendency for the blade to pull to the side that influences it the most . I have found that a saw used by a right hander will bind on my evil left handed approach . As a control I may say this is not evident in a new saw or a saw well used by me . It may be that a judicious tweaking of the blade before use would train it back into a more neutral bias . As the new set is proabably in the teeth as much as the blade body that may take some doing . What do you righties think . Please take it easy on me . I am left handed after all . L:O:L
