Just recieved a new toy. Was quite excited about getting it but I have a few nicer pieces so I did not expect it to knock my socks off. I recently picked up a Satu which is a great knife that really feels a set criteria in my uses for uber large folders. I can deploy the blade and strip large branches on most any small tree in my area and have a walking staff in minutes. Also is sharp enough and slices to the point where cleaning a rabbit is a pleasure.
The other end is daily carry where I have been using a MT Select Fire. Unless you have used this blade for tasks and not just flashed it around for your buddys, it is a serious cutter. Really a nice blade with a lot of purchase for the effort.
Now for the new toy. A Sniper Bladeworks LPC Mid Asian. Damn thing is just right. Weight is perfect. Grip geometry is very well thought out. It fits what a blade is suposed to do. To really go with a foward grip it is like a scalpel. The most detailed work is done with ease. If you choke back, the balance is great. I can only say check it out.
