A Custom Leather Sheath For One Of My All Time Favorites, The Basic 11

The Basic 11 is one of my all time favorites. The B11 weighs 16.9 ounces compared the the SYKCO 1111 which weighs 20.9 ounces. A Boom Parang weighs 20.6 ounces and a Ratweiler weighs 21.5 ounces. The B11 is very well balanced, chops like crazy and made out of INFI.
The B11 is outstanding and I wanted a lightweight compact sheath to compliment this wonderful knife.
Wet molded from 6 oz veg tanned leather, the sheath weighs in at a mere 3.3 ounces.

Just realized there are two different handles on these B11 knives. The knife with the partial BUSSE stamp and Busse Combat molded into the handle weighs 16.9 ounces and the other knife weighs 17.6 ounces. The sterile knife looks like it may have a newer style handle and it seems slightly thicker. Both came as strippers and the Busse marked knife may have been thinned ever so slightly. Either way they are both outstanding knives. Ounce for ounce the toughest chopper out there. Just so well balanced in the hand.
