There is an ulu style knife which appears in Cabela's catalog. It is made by Outdoor Edge and is called the "skinner." A friend who is an avid hunter barrowed one to whack up a couple of deer and was amazed at how well it worked. The knife is pretty small, probably about a 6" wide blade. The grip is non-skid rubber and the handle is a T and fits against the palm. Its blade is AUS8A. He wants one as close in size and design to the skinner as he can get but he wants D2 steel. Are there any custom makers who would reproduce this or a similar knife in D2 or another high end steel? Thanks, Jack
