So I've made it

Big Bowie Knife
San Mai Damascus (1010/1070 with a 5160 core)
22 3/4" overall length, 15 3/4" blade.
Stag handle with ebony spacer.
Mokume (1010/1070/copper) guard. Mokume (stainless steel / copper) pommel
Handmade dark brown leather sheath with snake skin decoration.

EKI CQC-11 and Spyderco Endura for size comparo.

How did you laminate the copper and the stainless steel? Can you forge weld them together?
