Here's a look at my latest finished work, a liner lock folder.

It features my own "rose roll" mosaic steel on the blade, with bolsters of endgrain crushed w's.
The liners are titanium, and the scales are african blackwood.

The pivot is hidden under the dovetailed bolsters, and it has a nice firm detent to keep it safe...

The overall length open is 7.5", and the cutting edge is 3-3/8" in length.
It weighs 3.65 oz. all told.

Pics and a vid, enjoy! Thanks for looking!

Fantastic work buddy....your knives are always so extraordinarily clean and visually striking....love to have an example.

Fantastic job on your first folder, very nice.

Yeah, I've been making frame and liner locks since about 2009... after all I was a student of Ken Onion's! Thanks guys!

My mistake on it being your first folding knife, sorry about that, I don't know where I got that from, anyhow that is one fantastic knife.

Well, I sure don't make a lot and show them around. Actually, I think it's been two years since the last one! Had to chase down all my proper bits from their far flung hiding places...
But now I have four on the list, and I'm looking forward to it. Folders are way more enjoyable to make with a good mill and surface grinder!

Salem, always love seeing your Damascus, always something unusual and unique.
