A Damascus Strider???

I was wondering if Strider has ever made a damascus bladed knife?

I am guessing no, at least not a production run. I would say the reasons might be: 1) Damascus is generally inferior in performance to the better steels like S30V, BG-42, or even ATS-34. 2) Strider's philosophy is to make their knives with function in mind, and looks are of secondary importance, if at all, and damascus steel is often thought to be for looks only, and so, this would be in conflict with the Strider philosophy.

But, does Strider make any damascus knives, what about for a special order? I recently saw a damascus blade with a very intricate pattern which had very cool little skulls in it, i think a Strider AR with such a blade would be very cool.
