Although not survival related, I thought you guys might enjoy looking at these pictures.. I spent the day today at the beach with my wife and my dog. For Valentine's day my wife wanted to go to the beach.. It's her favorite place to go. This place is great because it doesn't get a lot of people.. Also, the weather was great.. It was probably in the upper 60's to lower 70's.

Awesome photos, the west coast beaches are so different than the ones in the Gulf.

Ray that looks like a great time. we are having freezing temps and blowing snow right now this morning and looking at the pics you posted. I just came in from the shop and had to walk a whole 100' though that nasty weather lol. then I clicked on BF and saw the title you posted and looked at the pics you posted.
seeing them Just made me feel warmer lol.
You said your post might not be survival related. Hog wash. Thanks for posting them.

Take care,

Bryan

Hey Jake, when are you coming next month? Where are you staying, and how long?

Ray--- Jake will be out here, staying in Santa Cruz, March 31st---April 5th i believe...:) you should try and make it over here and hang out...

Great pics Ray.

When I walk on the beach I often look for objects that have been washed up that might be used in a survival scenario, it's good fun and often get's ya thinking outside the box !

This reminds me that I need to get over to the coast. I haven't been to the coast in a couple years (I'm not counting the beach/boardwalk in Santa Cruz, I was there last summer).
