So I decided to take the ESEE family & Mrs. Tactical out to the swamp for some good times! It was much needed after a long work week! The bush was calling me! ;) & so was the swamp!

Great pics! Joezilla and I are planning a 6 day canoe trip through the glades for next winter. Seeing your pics makes me want to do it this winter!

I spent a couple of days in the everglades back in 2007 summer holidays. Beatiful place, but a bit too hot! I guess the temperature is better at this time of the year!
 
Really nice pictures man, I like your attitude to have some fun out there with the Mrs. And be prepared as well. Nice emergency shelter btw, Izzis rock for those smaller tasks as it seems:p

Besides that your pics turned me on to the glades a lot more than the stuff that I have seen from Bear Grylls on the TV the other day... But as we all know this is meant for entertainment and shocking some couch potatoes out there ;)

your totally right! I have made it my mission to get this thing as dirty as I can, & put it through hell! This was day one of the new year I have already booked another trip in two weeks. I am putting one together for some time in february & have a camp site reserved for march! I will post more pics from these trips & more so it will be like I am taking you guys with me!

But i do suggest you guys get out there yourself! its worth seeing! more than once as well because i can't wait to get back out there already! anyone coming down my way i'll be more than happy to give you guys tips and pointers on were to go. still learning myself, but hey the everglades is a big place!

Yes that was a wild growing orange tree. Florida has great climate conditions for them!
