Im walking today on a fair long hiking whit the Fox Compso

I leaved early this morning, the Moon was just going down

The Fox Compso is a small fixed blade, is born as a neck-knife, anyway I received several feedback from the users and some of them uses it as a da back-up knife, carrying it in the rucksack, or, like me, as an utility knife to carry when I want something more robust than a folder but not too big. Here the Compso whit the Fallkniven WM1

The sheaths: I like more the Compos one, is more pocketable

Speaking about meausres, look at the Compso next to an Omega PO 45,5 mm, its really compact

The way I carry my Compso: in the jeans pocket

To pulling out the Compso what I need its just pushing my thumb against the sheath

I continue my biking, both on main streets and country tracks

Need for a walking stick, handling my Compso and looking for the right woods

The Fox Compso its not a slicer, due to the tickness of the blades and the scandi grind, Im not saying that its not cutting, but its more a robust knife that a real slicer.
On the sky, the Sun too is walking

On the road again, an old Citroen its carrying me on the 40th

After 1 hour, the Sun its going down, and the temperature too

Some hours ago, I found next to the track a beer can (empty, unfortunately)

I want to do a survival stove, to have some warm and fun

Fire is always a priority on the survival: its mean to be warm, and also is a great psychological help

More, I could boiling the water of this stream, so I may drink it without problems

Conclusions: the Compso is a small knife robust and pocketable. Not the best slicer you may find. The spear-point blade its really useful when you need to do holes in some materials. The handle is not so comfortable due his shortness, anyway I didnt feel the need of gloves today.

Ciao,
Alfredo
