A deal for non-Gold members

ESEE will make you non-Gold members a deal since it seems some people are upset that this mega-contest is only for Gold members. If you will go out and do the contest and post up your results, ESEE will pay a Gold membership for the top 3 places. Now, if you do this, then you will still not qualify for the regular contest since it is reserved for Gold members only. Contest will run the same time frame as the regular contest. You MUST sign the liability waiver and we will run a second thread for non-gold members entering this for a chance to win a Gold membership.

Now, let's see how many compaints we get: "this is too much work for a Gold membership", or "I don't have woods around my house" or "I'm just too pretty and think you should give me a gold membership because of my looks" or "Obama promised me entitlements and you're breaking federal law since you are making me work for something" or "I think this should be who can survive best in their house with a full refrigerator of groceries, Dish Network and all the HBO channels."

But I don't have cable, you're going to have to set aside a contest just for those of us with only regular tv!

That's not fair to the rest of us who spend the money on the Gold Membership!!!!!!!!

And Dish Network is trying to cancel my FX channel!!1!!!!!eleven!!11!!

I agree we should all get the free gold membership for this competition and free extensions for us who already bought them! :D

If you are upset about not being able to enter the contest because you don't have a gold membership STFU and just pay the $30 USD for the membership get (& get a free ESEE AH1!) and enter the contest. Hell you'll spend hundreds of dollars on knives but not $30 on a site dedicated to knives and the sharing of knowledge? Plus just think about it say you spend the $30 and win well any of the contests that Jeff or the Mods do um...I think that's a good return investment! Even if its just an Izula Kit that's atleast $20 less than you could get it from most anywhere. Use you heads and not your mouths before you start bitching people.

But I agree with everything else.
 
This is one of those "put your time where your gripe is" threads. Really don't need to spend anything here to get something in return and it all goes to a good cause in Bladeforums. Not to mention if you win a Gold membership then you can participate in future contests. Win - win for everyone. ;)
 
Wasn't the whole point of the Gold Membership drive based on the ability for only paying forum members to be able to enter Esee contests?

If people want to play then play by the already established rules imo.

Not trying to be a prick, just saying. If they want to enter such a HUGE contest with a massive prize they should pay to play like everyone else imo and not have Esee pay for them.

If someone enters this side contest that is NON GOLD then all they stand a chance at winning is a Gold membership. Nothing else. Pretty simple.
