I bought a few knives yesterday From a Busse owner that for the last 6 years I have been telling to hang on to his knives, that the Value will just go up.

Well it went up enough that he felt he needed the Cash more than the knives.I will see if I can get the Pictures to post.

There is a Hood knife,Number 18, five or six were made and this knife has been very hard to track down for sale.

A Presentation Straight Handled Battle Mistress, Number 350, a one of 300, slotted bolt, Fully Grooved handles, INFI etched on handle back.

A one of 300, round top swedge, user knife,Smooth Slotted handles.Sym grind

And an early Steel Heart variant .295 Bead blasted partly grooved handle slotted bolt, Asym Ground

Awesome. I would really like to know more about the Hood Knife. I've never heard of that one. They are all sweet. Great scores.

Andre, do you still have a massive collection like the one shown on BadMOJO? Apparently the King is in the house.
 
Interesting front talon on the Hood variant.

I have a factory cord-wrapped Mean Street with a disproportionatley large front talon hole like that.

Wonder if from the same era.... HHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......:cool:

Nice score Andre. I am sure you had second thoughts about even posting this, due to the flood of emails/PM you are now getting.

Of course, I would like one of the SHBMs as well....I'm just too much of a gentleman to bother you. :D ;)

That usee 1 of 300, also happens to be round on the top of the Swedge maybe False sharpened , not flat like usual, and the Presentation, also one of 300, also says Busse Combat knife Company Wauseon Ohio, and is Stamped 350
