Who doesn't get excited about a package from the Great Guardian of the Lambsfoot!!???
Jack Black sent me a passel of goodies, way more than he hinted he might send me one day!!B day 2.jpgB day 3.jpgOf course, a knife!! Accompanied by three others!!! A theater knife, likely completed the year I was born by a British soldier in Italy in the waning days of the War!!! Also, a Cretan folder, a fixed blade pruner from Sheffield, and a Stag folder, also from Sheffield!! Jack knows I collect corkscrews, and included a nice old example, along with a large Victorian penny from 1900 - a year before that great Monarch passed away!!B day 4.jpg
And finally, a bracelet of Lava beads, a bar of Olive Oil soap, and a post card of Sissi, Crete,
(spectacular place)!!
I am honored, and humbled, by all these goodies, Jack!! Thank you so much!!
I turn 80 next month, so the box came in a timely manner!!! :);)

80?!! Man... I hope I'm half as sharp as you at that age. I always imagined you were 45-50.

Jack Black Jack Black and his insane generosity strikes again! Good stuff :)

Ps, I'm jealous of that soap.

Thanks for the kind words, folks!! ;)
Some closer pics of the Cutlery!!
The Cretan knife is a traditional pattern from a small surviving industry!!
The Folding pruner is marked S.Hibbert & Son, Sheffield, and was incorporated in 1892!!

That theater knife is so cool. Do you reckon it was made from a broken bayonet or saber? My guess looking at it would be saber, but it is hard to gauge from a photo.
