This is one I've never seen before.Ebay #230113602782.I have several including the peppermint and the licorace and this is a new one on me.I waited on it to end because even though I didn't recognize any of the bidders I didn't want to run the bid up.It went out of my range.Maybe we will call it a lemon drop 148.It seems to have the Schrade-Walden tang stamp.Arnold

I watched it too. Evidently, it was one of a set of samples of these Walden knives using colored phenolic discs instead of leather. We know Sears (Maybe Penney's and others?) bought and sold the "licorice" and "peppermint" knives. Maybe the "lemondrop" was too radical for even the late fifties/early sixties tastes.

I agree. My first thought was this may be a true prototype or a sample that never went into production.Arnold
