Pass arounds are a great thing B/C It gives the user a chance to try out a knife before he buys it. This can come in handy for people who are on a tight budget and haven't gotten around to being paid forum members. So what do you say to putting a so many posts limit by the user. Like say maybe a min. of 40 Posts??? Sounds good to me, Im in.

It is my opinion that post count doesn't mean a thing. Besides that if someone wanted to they could have forty posts in a day.

Exactly. I've been here for 3 months, been posting every now and then, but I try to post only when I have something constructive to say. No use reiterating what everybody else is saying, I hate to waste posts on useless stuff.

I check the forums about 20 times a day. Seriously. :) I think I might have a problem here.

But anyway, I think that the rules for passarounds should really just depend on whose knife it is. If you don't trust basic members, limit it to paying members. I would get a membership if passarounds are regularly held for paying members (like around 5-10 knives out there at a given time, with representative samples of all companies).
