A different gunstock fixed blade !

The new NRA catalog came today and there weren't any old-stock Schrade-made commemoratives in it.
I did see something that might interest the fixed-blade feller.

I don't think Schrade made any gunstock knives like that,but Codger will know.
Maybe they'll try the plow-handle .45 colt design next.

It appears that's a new sheath design.Looks like a Boyt leather gun scabbard you tie to your saddle strings.

Good grief, I never saw anything like that before.

If one breaks the ivory part of an old schrade grafting knife, it sorta looks like a regular gunstock pattern. I got fooled by that once. I think Glennbad has the knife.

Yeah,I thought they are a little gross,also.The ad doesn't say who made them - just "Made in USA".
Only $120-$125.
 
Big 'sigh' for the old days, when the NRA used Schrades for many of their knives. Just who is 'USA' brand? Well, at least it is not China.
