Way different from what I usually make thats for sure. Might call this one "Lucky 13" just happens to be the OAL.
Just wanted to try something a little different. This little monster drew blood (My own) before I even put an edge on it. It has a full convex grind straight to zero on both sides. It will cut coming and going thats for sure. I had to wear gloves while doing the final finishing to keep from being cut again:D
Specs:
Blade is 8" tip to front of guard
13"OAL
Tripple quenched 3/16" 5160 with a scotch brite working finish.
Polished Black linen micarta W/ Nickle silver pins.

This may be a contender for a cutting contest. At least in my backyard.

Robert you're scarin' me! That thing looks like it'd cut you if you just looked away. Can't wait to see the cutting pics. :D I like the way you inset the scales, that always adds class and you got it right.

Yikes! Scary looking, black majic type, thingy knife deal ya got there! I like it.

NICE!!! Dang Robert that is kind of scary looking, like something you might see in one of those slasher movies. I have always liked the scotch brite finish also. That tanto of mine drew blood also. I guess that is one way of putting a little of yourself in to your knives.

Turned out great, Robert. Did that grind give you fits? I'd like to hear what you learned, or any suggestions on doing that backward curve grind.

Hey, you can harvest rice and defend the patties at the same time. Swiss Army ain't got nothin on you man.

Wow, Not to sound stupid but... I think You should call it the E.S Fighter. It's shaped like an elephant shlong:D

All kidding aside, very nice Robert

That one should make the bad guys run away before you have to show it to them the hard way..
