A different kind of parrying set.

In the course of my training, I have be-
come aquainted with the rattan ring. I have some familiarity with it's us and have become intrigued with one possibility that
it presents: it's pairing with a blade.
I have heard of technique for the ring and blade combo but am not familiar with any. Does anybody have any knowledge on this combination of weapons, or access to resources of such knowledge. I would appreciate some assistance.
