Hey all,

So I wanted to try something different with a Pooka I had set aside for myself. I have a list of things I want to learn and get better at and one of them is using vertical spacers. I learned a lot from making this one including that I should scuff up or perhaps drill holes in the spacers to help with attachment.

I think it came out awful pretty first try anyway though.

It's wearing stained Buckeye burl bolsters and a Black Walnut back. Along with brass pins and vertical spacers.

I also sanded some on the blade, think it cam out well overall

Thanks for looking,

Nice work, Pete. That little spacer is a fantastic touch. Really sets off the differences in the walnut and burl, and makes them contrast perfectly.

thanks, Mr Cooper!

Successful morning, also figured out how to put the pictures on the HK site in a gallery, woo hoo!

I'm a dope on a rope... Where's this HK gallery you speak of?

..

Slg98: yeah, sorry, can't post the website here because it'd be advertising, I'll send you an email. This is the good thing about the JK facebook page, we can post anything there :)

Thanks for the comments everyone!
